We process your personal data only in compliance with applicable laws. Typically, we process your personal data in the following circumstances:

  • To fulfill or initiate a contract (by using our Services, you enter into a contract for electronic services).

We believe these interests do not override the rights and freedoms of users or others whose data is processed, such as for direct marketing, enhancing our Services, and ensuring a secure and efficient Platform, as well as for other purposes mentioned in this Privacy Policy.
  • To comply with any legal obligations.

In some cases, we may process your personal data based on your explicit consent. If this occurs, we will clearly explain the purpose and type of data being processed when obtaining your consent.

Below, we describe how we process your personal data and the legal grounds that support our actions. If applicable, we also explain our legitimate interests.

Processing to Ensure Access and Provide Services Through the Platform

When logging in via your email address, we use your email to identify you and grant access to our Platform. If you use a Google account to log in, we utilize your name, email, and Google profile URL to verify your identity and provide Platform access.

This login data, along with any other information you provide when requesting a Service, is also used to deliver Services per our Terms of Service.

Processing to Enhance User Experience and Develop New Features

We collect data on user activity (such as clickstreams on the Platform) to:

  • Personalize content, such as improving search results during your use of our Services.
  • Understand how long and in which ways you navigate our Platform to tailor our Services based on your interests. For instance, we may suggest relevant content based on your preferences.
  • Track and report the effectiveness of marketing campaigns for business analysis and our partners.

We also use location data for the following purposes:

  • Aggregating anonymous user information for business analysis, segmentation, and developing profiles.
  • Improving the Platform and personalizing content based on your location (e.g., displaying nearby listings for sale).
  • Measuring interactions with third-party ads placed on our Platform.

We use your contact details (email and phone number) to recognize devices you use to access the Platform, enabling us to link your activities across devices for a consistent user experience.

All these activities are based on our legitimate interest in improving your experience with our Platform and fulfilling the contract between us.

To improve our services, we continuously work on new features, like enhancing job ad recommendations. We may also use your data for these purposes, relying on our legitimate interest in improving the Platform. We implement privacy measures, including pseudonymization and data encryption, when processing your data for these purposes.

To offer personalized listings, we use algorithms based on your browsing behavior, purchased items, and other data. This form of automated decision-making is done in line with your consent or based on our legitimate interest in enhancing user experience.

We occasionally send surveys via a random session identifier to assess your satisfaction with our Services. We may request your email or phone number to invite you to User Experience tests or other feedback activities.

We use recordings of customer service interactions for training and internal quality control. This helps us maintain high customer service standards. Processing is based on our legitimate interest in improving service quality.

Processing to Secure the Platform

  • We use your phone number, login details, and unique device identifiers to manage and protect our Platform (e.g., diagnostics, fraud prevention, IT system maintenance, and support).
  • To detect and prevent fraud, we use algorithms to identify suspicious behavior based on user activity and content. Accounts may be blocked if fraudulent activity is detected with high certainty, or manually reviewed by security specialists for suspicious behavior. This is done based on our legitimate interest in safeguarding the Platform.
  • We also collect device-related data (such as IP address, device type, operating system) to identify fraudulent activities and prevent abuse. Device information is linked to a fraud score, which may result in blocking certain users. If your account is blocked, you can contact us for a review.

This data is processed based on our legitimate interest in ensuring the security of our Services and preventing fraud.

Your Rights

Under applicable privacy laws, you have certain rights regarding your personal data processing. These rights depend on the type of processing we conduct.

How to exercise your rights: To manage your rights, we’ve made available certain features within your Wixolio account. Through these tools, you can correct, request a copy, or delete your data, or close your Wixolio account. For security purposes, requests must be submitted through your account to ensure we can verify your identity. Data deletion is only possible after our services are completed and your Wixolio account is closed.

If you wish to exercise your rights, go to your account settings or contact us.

  • Right of Access: You can ask whether we process your personal data and request a copy of it. This lets you verify if your data is processed lawfully.
  • Right to Rectify: You can request corrections to any inaccurate or outdated data.
  • Right to Restrict Processing: You can ask us to limit the processing of your data in specific situations, such as verifying its accuracy or complying with legal requirements.
  • Right to Erase: You can request the deletion of your personal data if it is no longer necessary or if the processing is unlawful. Please note that some data must be retained due to legal obligations.
  • Right to Object: You can object to the processing of your data if it is based on legitimate interest. This applies if you believe the processing negatively affects your rights or freedoms.
  • Right to Data Portability: You can request that we provide your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format, which may be shared with a third party.

You can withdraw consent for processing at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect the legality of processing done before the withdrawal.

Exercising your rights is typically free, but we may charge a reasonable fee for requests that are excessive or repetitive.

Processing Timeline: We aim to respond to all requests within one month. If the request is complex, we may need more time and will inform you of the extended period.

If you are unsatisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority. However, we encourage you to first contact us to resolve any concerns.

Communication and Marketing

Communication and Marketing We will communicate with you by phone, via email, SMS, or through notifications related to our Services. Communication will aim to confirm your registration, inform you when your ad becomes active/expires, and regarding other transactional messages related to our Services to fulfill the contract you have entered into. Because sending you such communications is necessary from our perspective, you may not have the option to opt out of receiving them.

Our services provided according to the Terms of Service are associated with receiving certain types of communications from us at the email address and/or phone number you provided. In this case, this communication is part of the service you ordered. You always have the option to withdraw from such a service or limit its functionality by contacting us.

In the event of a contact request submitted by you on the Service or through available communication channels, we process the data provided for this purpose, i.e., to contact you or entities supporting us in providing Services via available communication channels and to provide the requested information or support, as per your request (regardless of whether you are a user or not). If in such a request you do not specify contact details, and we process your data for another purpose, such data will be used to contact you at your request. We take such actions based on our legitimate interest in ensuring communication and responding to questions related to our business activity to fulfill the requested contact.

In situations where the Services we provide to other users require your participation, we may use your data that we process for another purpose to contact you by phone or email and arrange your necessary participation in providing such Service to another user. We take such actions based on our legitimate interest in ensuring business activity and providing services to users, but you may object to them.

We may also communicate with you to gather information regarding your assessment of the quality of the Services provided within the Service, as well as communication between users, particularly concerning the responsiveness of advertisers and entities to whom we provide your contact details at your request. We undertake such actions occasionally, based on our legitimate interest in developing the Service and individual services provided within it, but you may object to them.

If you leave us your contact details—even if you are not a registered user—we will use them to contact you and respond to your inquiry or present you with an offer. The personal data of individuals using contact forms are processed for the purpose of identifying the sender and providing the requested assistance or information, including a commercial offer.

You may receive marketing communication if you have expressed your willingness to receive such information, particularly by giving your consent to receive marketing communication, including by making an explicit request to receive it or leaving your details for this purpose. In such cases, we will use your email address and mobile phone number to send you proposals and recommendations for our Services based on our legitimate interest.

However, you can withdraw from receiving marketing communications at any time by clicking the appropriate link included in the email or SMS sent to you, or by changing notification settings within your Wixolio account. If you encounter problems or difficulties, please contact us.

In B2B communications, if we have obtained your data from publicly available sources or from third parties, we will make reasonable efforts to inform you about the rules for processing your personal data and obtain your appropriate consent for marketing contacts using remote communication methods. We will also provide you with the opportunity to express your objection to processing your data for such purposes.

The above personal data is used based on the premise of legitimate interest related to marketing our Services and expanding cooperation with entrepreneurs.

Where and for how long do we store your data?

The data we collect about you will be stored and processed both within the "EAA" and outside of it, on adequately secured servers, to ensure the highest quality of services for our users, such as fast websites or continuously developed mobile applications. Wixolio user data is stored on cloud servers.

We retain your data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including compliance with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, or for reporting purposes.

To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider the quantity and nature of the data processed, including the nature of the data in special categories. We also take into account the potential risk of unauthorized use or disclosure of your personal data, the possibility of achieving processing purposes by other means, and the content of regulations concerning the processed personal data.

Your personal data related to your Wixolio account is stored for as long as you hold the account in the Service to provide the services in accordance with the Terms of Service, as well as for marketing purposes. After deleting your account, your data will be removed without unnecessary delay and as quickly as technically possible.

After your account is closed, we may retain your personal data to the extent and for the period necessary to fulfill obligations arising from legal regulations or our legitimate interests (e.g., for combating abuse). We will only keep data that is relevant for such purposes and delete it after the appropriate statutory retention or limitation periods or upon fulfilling the relevant legal obligation.

Personal data related to cookie technology is stored for the duration corresponding to the lifecycle of the cookies or until the User removes them. You can read more about this in our Cookie Policy and similar technologies.

If you have any questions regarding the retention periods of your data, please contact us.
